Referencing Process
Once we have received the required documentation and the signed Holding Deposit Agreement, we will commence the referencing process. You will receive an email from Rightmove Referencing containing instructions and forms that must be completed as part of your application.
Holding Deposit Information
The holding deposit will be credited towards the first month's rent or tenancy deposit upon successful completion of the tenancy. In accordance with the Tenant Fees Act 2019, the holding deposit may be retained in certain circumstances, including where an applicant:
Provides false or misleading information which materially affects their suitability to rent the property;
Fails a Right to Rent check;
Withdraws from the proposed tenancy;
Fails to take all reasonable steps to enter into the tenancy agreement within the agreed timeframe.
